SSJ’s PENNE PASTA BREADED PIZZIES
Hey Happy-Eaters,
I am back with another new recipe of mine. You know, I love
pasta a lot and every time I have pasta, I think to do something different with
it and see, I have done it finally. Here is the recipe :
INGREDIENTS
For Pasta :
- Penne pasta – 50gms.
- Milk – ½ cup
- Corn flour – 1tsp.
- Butter – 1tbsp.
- Garlic – 2 big cloves, grated
- Salt to taste
- Pepper powder – ½ tsp.
- Oregano, thyme, basil – ½ tsp.
- Carrot – ¼ cup thinly striped
- Capsicum – ¼ cup thinly striped
For Pizzies :
- Bread slices – 4
- Egg – 1
- Cheese spread – 4tsp.
- Ginger garlic paste – 1tbsp.
METHOD
For Pasta :
- Boil the pasta as per the instruction in the packet. And keep aside
- Heat butter in a pan, add the grated garlic and saute for a minute
- Once its done add the corn-flour saute for a second let it not turn brown.
- Add milk and stir it continuously to avoid lumps.
- Once the mixture starts thickening add carrots and capsicum and cook for 1 minute then add oregano, thyme, basil, salt, pepper powder.
- Add pasta, mix well and cook for another 1 minute and keep it aside to make it cool.
For Pizzies :
- Beat egg with pinch of salt and brush it on edges of bread slices.
- Now keep 2tbsp. egg for brushing and mix left egg mixture with ginger garlic paste in pasta slowly.
- Spread cheese spread on each slice’s one side then spread pasta softly.
- Now put these bread slices in your pre-heated Tandoor / Oven (preheat on 180degree) and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Then when it comes out mostly dry, just apply one more brushing of egg on it and put back in tandoor / oven for 2 minutes.
- Serve hot with sauce/ ketchup.
So this is the new avatar of penne pasta in pizza style. Try
