SSJ’s ROASTED CHILI POTATOES WITH CARAMALIZED PEARS SAUCE

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend well but Navratras still going on so why stopped at old recipes. Here is one more recipe for you all…



SSJ’s ROASTED CHILI POTATOES WITH CARAMALIZED PEARS SAUCE



INGREDIENTS



For Roasted Potatoes :

Potatoes – 5-6 , par-boiled & cut in 1inch pieces

Salt to taste

Red chili flackes – 2tsp.

Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp.

Coriander – 2 tbsp. chopped



For Pears Sauce :

Pears – 2, finely grated

Sugar – ½ cup

Star Anise – 1

Lemon juice – 2 tbsp.

Pomegranate seeds – 1 tbsp.



METHOD



For Roasted Potatoes :

Mix potatoes with salt, cumin powder , chili flakes and coriander  and put it in a oven tray and put in your preheated oven at 250 degrees for 12-15 minutes or till potatoes turn crispy golden.



For Pears Sauce :

Add sugar in a pan on medium heat, add grated pears and star anise and mix well.

Cook for 5 minutes ot till sugar dissolves and starts thicken.

Switch off the gas and add lemon juice and pomegranate seeds and mix well.



Serve hot Chili Roasted Potatoes with this Pears Sauce on it with garnish of fresh coriander.
