Hey Happy-Eaters,
Yesterday we were talking about “Sambar Powder” which is one
of the most important spice mix of South India and today we will discuss one
more spice mix from South India called… “Rasam
Powder”. Sometimes people got confused between sambar powder and rasam powder
because of similarity of ingredients but taste and aroma is totally different.
Come have a look on…

Now put red chilies, cumin seeds and peppercorns and dry
roast them also. Take out in same plate.
Now put both daals and dry roast till daal become golden.
Take out in same plate.
Now let it all completely cool.
When it cools , add to your mixer jar.

Rasam is actually a South Indian soup which normally enjoyed
