SSJ’s GREEN APPLE STUFFED POTATO TIKKI with ZINGY CUCUMBER SAUCE

Hope you all enjoying with new recipes in your kitchen daily. So here is one more recipe with another special sauce from my kitchen…



SSJ’s GREEN APPLE STUFFED POTATO TIKKI with ZINGY CUCUMBER SAUCE



INGREDIENTS



For Tikki:

Potatoes – 2 boiled

Green apple – ½ grated

Paneer (Cottage cheese) – 2tbsp, crumbled

Lemon juice – ½ tsp

Coriander – ½ tsp. chopped

Sale to taste

Red chili powder – ½ tsp. and ½ tsp.

Oil / ghee for frying



For Sauce :

Cucumber – 2 inches , finely grated (only outer skin)

Sugar – ½ cup

Green chili – 1, finely chopped

Ginger juice – 2tbsp.

Lemon juice – 2tsp.

Salt to taste



METHOD



For Tikki :

Mash potatoes and mix salt, red chili powder and coriander well.

Add red chili powder and lemon juice to grated green apple and keep aside for 2 minutes.

Now press apple in your hands to get excess liquid out and mix paneer in it.

Take handful potato mix and make a ball, press from centre and fill the apple-paneer mixture and make thick tikki.

Heat oil/ghee in your pan and cook tikkies from both sides on medium heat till golden crispy.



For Sauce :

Heat another pan on gas. Add sugar and grated cucumber with ginger juice and cook on medium heat till sugar dissolves.

Add salt and green chili and cook another 2 minutes.

Switch off the gas and add lemon juice.



Serve hot Stuffed Aloo Tikki with Zingy Cucumber Sauce and enjoy the evening.
