SSJ’s BREAD MALAI PEDA




Hey Happy-Eaters,



So how’s you all? I was bit busy from last few days but now m back with my new recipes specially made for you all. This recipe is dedicated to all busy people, when guest came unexpectedly and you are confuse that what to serve after meal or just something sweet with tea or coffee than this recipe is the answer, you can make it within maximum10 minutes with very few ingredients and mostly available in all kitchens and at last all will praise your cooking skill, I bet. Here comes…



SSJ’s BREAD MALAI PEDA



INGREDIENTS



Milk – ½ cup

Sugar – 5tbsp.

Bread slices – 3

Desiccated coconut – 2 tsp. and ¼ cup

Corn flour – 1tbsp.

Almonds – 5-6



METHOD



Heat milk in a deep pan, except 2 tbsp. add sugar in milk and let it dissolves.

Add corn flour to 2tbsp. milk and when sugar dissolves and milk boils, add corn flour mix in milk and let it thicken for 3-4 minutes.

Cut bread crusts and break in small pieces (1 cm.) and add to thicken milk and mix well that all bread pieces will dissolve in milk.

Chop 2 almonds finely and add to bread milk mixture. Also add 2tsp. desiccated coconut and mix well.

Now keep it in fridge immediately for 4-5 minutes to get cool.

After 5 minutes take it out and roll small balls in your hand, press the ball softly to give peda shape and roll it in desiccated coconut well.

Now put almond halves in center and serve.





TIPS



Don’t store it for long as bread will start drying.

For different flavors and to avoid corn flour, you can add custard powder to get milk thicken and custard can give many flavors.
